D'acting StrokeD'acting: Acting For Dancers

Most dance performances require a certain amount of "acting" or the ability to display emotion while dancing.  Before a dance is performed upon the stage it is important for the dancers to investigate their character under the direction of the choreographer and develop a strong sense of their purpose on stage.  Here are a few basic exercises that will help your dancers "d'act" effectively.  First here are two ice breakers that your dancers will surely enjoy.  After we will explore exercises that can take your dancers' performance to the next level.
